Apple Developer Program membership is needed for Developer ID signing/notarization and Mac App Store publishing. A free Apple sign-in alone does not provide these distribution credentials.
Direct downloads need a signed, notarized build. The Mac App Store needs a separate appropriately sandboxed build and review.
The kit includes listing drafts, original icons, a Windows manifest template and packaging helper, plus Mac signing/sandbox review notes. It does not include an approved Store package; your real Store identity and testing are still required.
Tick steps as you complete them. Marks stay in this browser; they do not submit anything to Microsoft.
Use these steps as a written checklist.
No paid membership, signing certificate, advertising or generation credits have been purchased for this release.
For the Mac App Store
Apple routes beta and Test builds through TestFlight. The current 0.2 Test remains a direct preview download; a production Store release needs completed features and a separate Store build.
Enrol under the correct legal identity and create the App Store Connect app record.
Prepare distribution signing/provisioning, adapt the app for the sandbox and make a production build. The current Xcode configuration has sandboxing disabled.
Test file access, tablet features and optional integrations in that Store build.
Add screenshots, privacy/support details, age rating and an accurate feature description.
Review optional donation/payment links against current Store rules, submit for review and verify a fresh Store install.
These public channels have no listing charge for this project. Payments and optional paid services have their own terms. Remote hosting stays online when Karim Eldamaty's Mac is off.
The new custom Scoop bucket pins the existing Windows ZIP and its checksum. It is developer maintained; its manifest and full payload have been checked. Actual Scoop installation/uninstallation remains untested. See Scoop setup.
Product Hunt, AlternativeTo, MacUpdate and Show HN need separate accounts or posting eligibility and have not been submitted. WinGet needs a compatible manifest and review before inclusion; it is not currently listed there.

Download hosts, directories, community posts and search tools serve different purposes. The status below says what is public and what still needs your own account or review. These are selected useful routes; paid extras are excluded.
Share a finished Reel through your account and use available profile links. Public content can be discovered/reposted; reach depends on privacy and account features.
MacUpdate is an additional Mac-only candidate. Its public submission guide does not confirm a free listing fee, so it is excluded from the verified free list.
The creator kit has five editable one-minute concepts, Gemini/universal prompts, shot plans, subtitles, titles and social captions. Two silent edited promos are included; those clips are not AI-generated footage.
